Deshaan is the Ebonheart Pact's second Dunmer zone, covering the marshlands south of Stonefalls and centered on Mournhold — one of the most historically significant cities in Elder Scrolls lore, the seat of House Indoril and home to the tribunal temple dedicated to Almalexia. The terrain shifts from Stonefalls' volcanic scars to flat, swampy lowlands broken by Dunmer architecture and the sprawling lake systems around Hlaalu territory. Six treasure maps are spread across the zone, plus a single original-launch CE map. As a base game zone with two sets that see consistent demand, Deshaan has one of the more reliable market floors in the Treasure maps family.
Where the value is
Three overland sets drop from Deshaan chests: Mother's Sorrow, Plague Doctor, and Night Mother's Embrace. Mother's Sorrow is a cornerstone healer set — it increases healing done and provides magicka recovery, and it has held a place in endgame healer builds since the Morrowind era. Plague Doctor is a workhorse tank set built around raw max health, consistently used in progression content where health floors matter more than optimized defensive stats. Having two sets with sustained endgame demand in the same zone is unusual in this family, and it keeps the Deshaan map market active independently of meta cycles. Night Mother's Embrace serves stamina Nightblade and stealth builds at lower but consistent volume.
The CE map holds the original 2014 supply ceiling.
How to get them
Maps drop from enemies, containers, and overland chests across Deshaan. As a base game zone, the supply of standard maps is reliable and trading is active.
