Coldharbour Treasure Maps

Six treasure maps inside Molag Bal's Oblivion plane — ESO's endgame zone, shared by all three alliances. Meridia's Blessed Armor, Prisoner's Rags, and Stygian define the loot pool in a zone where the farming population is narrower than base game zones by design.

Coldharbour is Molag Bal's plane of Oblivion — the endgame destination for ESO's main story questline, reached by players from all three alliances after completing their alliance content. It's one of ESO's most distinct zones: dark stone terrain, soul energy lighting, and the oppressive architecture of a Daedric realm built around domination and enslavement. The Hollow City serves as the main hub, a Meridia-protected enclave surrounded by hostile territory. Six treasure maps are spread across the zone alongside a single original-launch CE map.

Where the value is

Three overland sets drop from Coldharbour chests: Meridia's Blessed Armor, Prisoner's Rags, and Stygian. Meridia's Blessed Armor draws from tank and defensive build demand, thematically tied to Meridia's opposition to Molag Bal in the zone. Prisoner's Rags and Stygian serve stamina and shadow-oriented builds respectively — niche but stable demand from players building for specific Nightblade and stealth-heavy playstyles.

What makes Coldharbour distinct in this family is the farming population. As a post-questline zone requiring significant progress to unlock, fewer players farm it regularly than base game zones accessible from the start. That constrains standard map supply relative to zones like Deshaan or Glenumbra — prices can sit higher than volume alone justifies. The CE map carries the standard original-launch supply floor on top of that.

How to get them

Maps drop from enemies, containers, and overland chests in Coldharbour. The zone requires completion of your alliance's main questline or ESO's main story access. All six standard maps trade through guild traders, though less frequently than base game zone maps.

Chest locations:

  • Map I: East of Haj Uxith Wayshrine, near Font of Schemes, beside the stone gate
  • Map II: South of Forsaken Village, near the house
  • Map III: East of The Hollow City — small hill with a ruined house on top, beside the bookshelf inside
  • Map IV: Eastern Everfull Flagon, east of the windmill, beside the large tree
  • Map V: South of The Manor of Revelry, near the wrecked stone pillar and the standing lion statue
  • Map VI: Northwest of Reaver Citadel Wayshrine, east of The Reaver Citadel
  • CE Map: East of Reaver Citadel Wayshrine, south of Survivor's Camp, below the large wrecked ship
