Stormhaven is the central Daggerfall Covenant zone in High Rock — the bridge between Glenumbra's western coast and Rivenspire's gothic north, anchored by the merchant city of Wayrest. The terrain is milder than its neighbors: rolling farmland, coastal cliffs, and goblin-occupied hills rather than dark forests or volcanic wastes. It's one of ESO's original base game zones, and as a Daggerfall Covenant mid-tier zone it sees steady traffic from players progressing through alliance content. Six treasure maps are distributed across the zone alongside a single original-launch CE map.
Where the value is
Three overland sets drop from Stormhaven chests: Dreamer's Mantle, Night Terror, and Storm Knight's Plate. Dreamer's Mantle targets healer builds with sustained output bonuses. Storm Knight's Plate is a heavy armor set with a lightning-damage proc, used by stamina builds that want a defensive profile with offensive upside — it trades when that combination is competitive in PvP or when players are building for specific content. Night Terror serves stamina Nightblade and stealth-oriented builds at lower but consistent volume. No single set dominates the way Necropotence does in Rivenspire or Mother's Sorrow does in Deshaan, but the spread across three build types keeps the market broadly active rather than cyclically dependent on one meta window.
The CE map carries the standard original-launch scarcity floor.
How to get them
