Craglorn was ESO's first adventure zone, added in 2014 shortly after launch. It covers the arid canyon lands of interior Hammerfell — ancient Nedic ruins, Serpent cult activity, and terrain organized around the four Celestial constellations. The zone spans Upper and Lower Craglorn with Belkarth as the main hub, and was originally designed for group play before being reworked as soloable content. Six treasure maps are distributed across both sections. There is no Collector's Edition map for Craglorn — it postdates the original launch and was never part of a CE bundle.
Where the value is
Three overland sets drop from Craglorn chests: Way of Air, Way of Fire, and Way of Martial Knowledge. Way of Martial Knowledge is the set that drives consistent demand — a support set that increases weapon and spell damage for nearby group members, making it relevant for trials and organized group content. It trades when players are building for specific support roles or when the group composition meta shifts toward buff-stacking. Way of Fire serves fire-damage proc builds and sees episodic demand when flame-damage builds are competitive. Way of Air draws from similar lightning-focused elemental demand.
The absence of a CE map means there's no scarcity premium on top of the standard pool — prices reflect set demand more purely here than in zones with CE supply constraints.
How to get them
Maps drop from enemies, containers, and overland chests across both Lower and Upper Craglorn. The zone requires no DLC beyond the base game, but its original group-content design means farming loops can take longer than in open-world zones.
